The Tutoring School provides professional one-on-one tutoring to students of all ages and skill levels in nearly all subjects. Our tutors are experienced teachers and tutors, who not only know their subject well, but also teach and utilize good study skills. The tutors work with students on an individualized one-on-one basis on a program tailored to meet the student’s specialized needs.
For students needing to remedy a difficult subject area, we offer intensive one-on-one personal instruction to bring about a student’s full understanding and to restore his/her self-confidence and ability in the subject. We also offer personalized instructions to explore the subject in more depth for students wishing to excel in specific subjects.
For students needing to improve basic study skills, we teach how to overcome study barriers in order to form an excellent foundation for future learning in any area, field or subject. Individual Booster Classes can be arranged for students need help in a certain subject.
These classes can include: Math, Spanish, English, Grammar, Reading and Comprehension, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, SAT examination preparation, California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) preparation and GED examination preparation and more.
The Tutoring School is located at 2808 Honolulu Ave., La Crescenta, CA 91214. Tutoring is done by appointment 7 days a week at our private school. For an extra fee, tutoring can be done in your home, at school or other location of your choice. Call 818 541 9526 for more details.
