Los Angeles ORT College is a non-profit higher education institution and is part of the global network of ORT educational centers, with more than 800 schools in 60 countries around the world. In United States, ORT Operations USA operates Bramson ORT in New York and Zarem-Golde ORT in Chicago in addition to the Los Angeles ORT College.
Established in 1985, Los Angeles ORT College is dedicated to providing affordable education in Technology, Business and Medical fields. The college offers certificate and degree programs in an environment that enhances the students’ abilities to fulfill their career goals. For those who seek to improve their English language skills, ORT provides one of the best English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, using classroom instruction and computer labs, to prepare the graduates for the demanding job market.
The educational programs of Los Angeles ORT College are all accredited by Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), and the college is approved by U.S. Department of Education to offer federal financial aid to its eligible students. Los Angeles ORT is approved by Bureau for Private Postsecondary & Vocational Education of California and is approved by the Workforce Investment Board to provide tuition assistance to displaced workers.
